McDonald's Happy Meal

I led Activision's partnership with McDonald's and The Marketing Store to create McDonald's first all-recycled Happy Meal toy line. By utilizing internal data testing methods, the toy concepts were approved by Activision's top executives, culminating in a successful December 2023 launch. Below is an in-depth look at all of the Happy Meal toy concepts I worked on, through a review by @FastFoodToyReviews.

🎯 Objective: 

  • Account Management: Serve as the account manager for Activision, collaborating with McDonald's and The Marketing Store to create the first-ever all-recycled material Happy Meal toy line for Crash Team Rumble.

  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback within the team and collaborate with stakeholders to refine the toy models iteratively.

  • Toy Testing and Iteration: Utilize internal Activision data to ensure the toys are user-friendly and engaging for kids.

  • Final Presentation: Present the finalized toy designs and campaign overview to Activision's President and COO for approval.

 📋 Responsibilities:

  • Communication Lead: Act as the main point of contact and manage all communication between Activision, McDonald's, and The Marketing Store throughout the project.

  • Toy Testing Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the toy testing phase, utilizing internal Activision data to ensure the toys meet quality, usability, and entertainment standards for young users.

🌟 Outcome:

  • Executive Approval: The President and COO of Activision approved the campaign and the proposed toy concepts for the all-recycled Happy Meal toy line.

  • Successful Launch: The Happy Meal toys successfully launched in December 2023, marking the introduction of the first-ever all-recycled material toy line for Crash Team Rumble in McDonald's Happy Meals, validated through internal data-driven testing to ensure a positive user experience for children.
